Jess Crane is a multidisciplinary artist and business consultant with extensive experience in the fashion industry, having developed products for corporations and medium-scale brands. Formerly the owner of an apparel and product development company, she now specializes in strategic guidance for businesses and nonprofits. Jess serves on the board of AIBI Chicago and chairs the Nominations Committee for FGI Chicago. She directs marketing efforts for a nonprofit focused on historical agricultural education and leads a research project on Chicago fashion history. Jess also creates apparel art for Chicagoland nonprofits and is known as a musician, writer, artist, and advocate for individuals with disabilities and chronic health conditions. Connect with Jess:

Shernett Swaby
Shernett Swaby is a Fashion Artist who was born in Jamaica, grew up in Canada and is now based in Chicago. She started sewing at age eight, making clothing for her dolls and mending her own. She learned to sew by watching her mother who was a local seamstress.
Since then she has been professionally perfecting her craft. Her mission is to use a detailed oriented collection to promote and celebrate individualism in the fashion industry. Swaby’s work is edgy with a wearable artistic flair.
Her work has been featured in local and international magazines and she was a top 5 finalist on PROJECT RUNWAY, the television series. Connect with SWABY:

Tracey Mayer
Tracey Mayer is an accomplished entrepreneur with over 30 years of experience. The award-winning designer led the growth of her luxury jewelry business to an international presence.
Throughout her career, she held adjunct faculty positions and served on Mayor Daley’s Fashion Council for ten years. Tracey is passionate about giving back and served on the Ronald McDonald Women’s Auxiliary Board and was a Wish Granter with Make-A-Wish for 18 years.
After escaping domestic violence, Tracey is now a consultant and is using her voice and story to help eliminate the shame and stigma often surrounding this difficult subject. Tracey resides in Chicago. Connect with Tracey:
