The industry’s newest, most talented & promising creatives are nominated & awarded through a juried & FGI member-voted competition from August 2022 – May 2023. The competition is open to applicants in:
FASHION APPAREL,COLLABORATIONS, ACCESSORIES, FINE JEWELRY, BEAUTY, SUSTAINABILITY & NEW RETAIL.
Categories & winners will be announced at FGI’s annual red-carpet event in May 2023 in New York City.

WELCOME TO THE COMPETITION!
Entries will be reviewed and judged based on creativity, innovation, concept branding, detail and overall business acumen and brand potential in the marketplace.
Founders/brands will be considered for innovative
products in beauty lifestyle, fragrance, bodycare, skincare and color cosmetics.
Products for entry include Soft goods: fashion jewelry and scarves and
Hard goods: Shoes and Handbags.
New collaborations (between 1-6 years) of product or marketplace concept between
a content creator and a fashion apparel, accessories or beauty brand.
Both creators will be awarded but the “collaboration” concept and execution will be judged.
FASHION APPAREL COLLECTIONS
Traditional gender categories have been re-envisioned based on the fluidity of the current
fashion/consumer landscape. Designers are welcome to submit according to their target customer. *
All fashion collections designed for semi or formal occasions.
Ready to wear, active bespoke and made to measure businesses are accepted in this category.
READY TO WEAR
All fashion collections designed and sold in the ready to wear market and includes:
collections in the “Contemporary” or “Young Designer” category, mass produced and product sold
through active retail businesses or direct to consumer.
All product and apparel designed for sport, outdoor activity, leisure and comfort.
NEW RETAIL CONCEPT
New concepts for sales to a consumer market and may include bundling,
packaging, new sales concept, new categories, new types of research and customer service or
other innovative approach to meet the needs of the consumer.
This category is optional and all brands all may apply based on your sustainability missions.
Brands considered for fine jewelry designed within luxury price category.
* Entry fees in this category are based on 1 entry per brand category. Brands may submit to a maximum of 2 categories in separate transactions.
